We recommend that novices start with Competent Crew followed by Day Skipper then once sufficient experience is gained YM. We have experienced people who massively overestimate their base knowledge and skills.
To encourage this, we offer a 50% discount for Competent Crew where a person negotiates a bespoke package which includes shore based online theory courses with us alongside their practical exams.

We are also able to offer supernumerary berths to build miles as long as we can verify a person’s safeguarding credentials.
