A new donation to the Kings Fleet!

On the 17th August 2024, Kings Fleet was generously donated a Moody 31, moored in Ireland.

Thanks to some generous donations of crew time and finances, we moved the yacht to the Isle of Wight, where we planned to restore her before sending her to Greece.

On close inspection, when we could strip her apart we found that she needed a lot more work than first understood.

This work would cost approximately £15,000 (at trade prices) plus a lot of labour, that we don't currently have.

Therefore the decision was made, in agreement with the original donor, to sell the yacht as a project to re-coup the expenses to date, with any profits being donated to support the exisiting work of Broad Reach Maritime in Greece.
