Conference 2022 – Greece – The other side of the boat

Dear Fellow Mariners,

It is with great joy and anticipation that we welcome you to participate…in person, for Kingsfleet Conference 2022.

The Conference will be held in Greece this year by Broad Reach Maritime, Hellenic Ministries.

  • Arriving 8th Sept (evening meeting / dinner)
  • Conference 9th – 10th – 11th Sept
  • Depart 12th Sept

We are honoured to host you at HM’s camp site Porto Astro, nestled in a gorgeous bay just 1.5 hrs North of Athens.  Porto Astro: Google Maps link

What an inspiration it was for us all last year, even though we met virtually on-line!

Are you discouraged, tired or emotionally depleted, with the uncertainty of the times?  We invite you to come and be refreshed, uplifted, and spiritually renewed.

Our theme this year will be “The other side of the boat…Go fish!”  Our speaker, pastor Mark Schmidt from Northside Church, Vanderhoof B.C Canada will be serving us through his wonderful daily messages.

Once again, we will experience great fellowship, wonderful messages from God’s Word, worship and last but not least…amazing Greek food!

Please do not miss this opportunity, come prepared to receive what Jesus has for us all!

Accommodation and Food

Accommodation and all meals are included in the conference fee.
Throughout the conference, we will stay at Porto Astro, about an hour and a half north of Athens.
Accommodation will either be in cabins ashore equipped with six bunk beds, or on one of our vessels.

Please bring your own bedding (pillowcase, sheets, sleeping bag or duvet, sailing boats!)

Transportation

We will arrange your transportation between the airport and Porto Astro only for the designated arrival and departure time of which you will be informed.

Buses will leave Athens airport at 17:00 on the 8th of September – then will return to Athens airport before 12:00 midday on the 12th September.

(if you need to catch an earlier flight then you will have to travel by train the previous evening and stay overnight at the airport, please let us know if you need to do this.)

12 – 6 yrs         € 60
Under 5 yrs     Free

(€ 40 discount if you are staying aboard your own vessel)

Important Note:
We don’t want anyone to be unable to come because of finances, if you are unable to pay then please contact us and we will try to assist you.

To be paid in cash on arrival.

Confirmation

All ministries/individuals must confirm their participation before the 1st August 2022.

Those of you who would like to continue your stay in Greece before or after the conference, please understand that Broad Reach Maritime will be unable to assist you in arranging travel or accommodation.  You will have to arrange this independently.
